ClipboardX connects an Android phone and Windows PC after both devices are installed, registered and paired.

Get started and pair

Install ClipboardX on Android and Windows, then start pairing from the app. Scan the pairing QR code or use the available pairing flow and approve the device. A pairing is required before sync can start.

Clipboard sync

ClipboardX syncs text and one image at a time between paired Android and Windows devices. PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP and GIF are supported; GIF animation and original encoded content are preserved. Images over 20 MiB, files, folders, video, HEIC/HEIF, AVIF and SVG are not supported. Image Sync is enabled per device; turning it off does not stop Text Sync and local image History remains available. One text or image uses one transfer from quota; image chunks do not count separately. Images may fail when disconnected, disabled, unsupported, too large, or blocked by safety settings. The backend does not permanently store synced image content.

Do I get anything for pre-registering?

Eligible users in the announced Google Play pre-registration campaign may receive 200 ClipboardX credits. Availability can depend on your country or region and campaign eligibility, and one reward is limited to each eligible ClipboardX account or device identity. Pre-registration reward grant or claim details will be announced by ClipboardX; pre-registration does not itself create a ClipboardX account or credit claim in the app.

What are ClipboardX credits?

ClipboardX credits are non-cash credits for ClipboardX transfer/quota functionality. One completed logical text or image transfer uses one quota transfer; image chunks do not count separately. Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or refunded.

Troubleshooting

For account, device-limit, quota, subscription, update, pairing or bug-report help, contact support@clipboardx.it.com.

  • Confirm both devices are online and running a supported version.
  • Check the current pairing and connection state; reconnect or re-pair if the pairing was removed.
  • Review sensitive-data and excluded-application settings before expecting an item to sync.
  • For a persistent issue, reset or remove the affected device only if you understand that it clears its local pairing/authentication state.
